Description

Lightmen Painting is hiring an experienced painter with at least 3 years of hands-on field experience.

This role is for someone who already knows how to prep properly, produce clean work, move efficiently, and handle real jobsite responsibility without needing constant hand-holding. We are looking for painters who care about quality, understand professional standards, and can contribute immediately.

You should be comfortable with residential and commercial painting work, including prep, brushing, rolling, masking, spraying, ladders, cleanup, and jobsite professionalism. Cabinet experience, fine-finish work, and exterior repaint experience are all strong pluses.

This is not an entry-level role. We want someone who already understands the trade and wants to work with a company that values consistency, clean work, communication, and production.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience
  • Strong prep skills including sanding, scraping, caulking, patching, and masking
  • Ability to produce clean brush and roll work
  • Experience with spray equipment and masking is preferred
  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality
  • Comfortable on ladders and active jobsites
  • Professional attitude and reliable communication
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Experience with residential repaints, interiors, exteriors, cabinets, or commercial work is a plus
